Celebrate

So many things to celebrate.. the main one being that the sun shone and it was warm enough to have lunch and tea out in the garden!!  After yesterdays deluge which rained without cease the entire day we wondered if we would manage to have our lunch guests in the garden.  We had planned a barbecue and the morning was very grey and damp but we trusted the forecasters and set up outside.. we were hugely delighted when the sun appeared.. and all our hats were borrowed and the umbrella went up.  We celebrated big time.. what fun!! Typically I was so busy that I didn't get any pictures.. the table did look pretty before the lunch and this is the first picture from just after everyone left.  It was special to have old friends with us today. We have known each other for near on 40 years.. which seems unbelievable! 
We feel tired but renewed
