Dragon Bridge, Ljubljana

We were all packed up quite early and went down to Illy, at the Grand Canal for breakfast of their excellent coffee and French pastries, sitting outside enjoying the sun. We then had a walk down to the outdoor bathing which was in the other side of the way we usually walk. It was closed for bathing atm but we met an Italian guy who has a second home here in Trieste but lives in the Prosecco area about two hours away. He had some interesting chat.

Because we were delayed speaking to him we had to walk very quickly to the apartment for checkout! We let the cleaner in as we sorted out the rubbish and finished off the yogurt and strawberries then headed for the Flix coach to Ljubljana.

It was a very short journey 1.5 hours to Ljubljana then a ten minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is pristine! I mean the apartment we just left was also fabulous and this seemed very new. We have a balcony as well .

Had a wander down by the river lots of boats. Stopped for a meal and another good meal.

Another walk and back to the hotel we’ve did a lot of walking today!
