The first fruits of my labours, perpetual spinach! I also took a tray of lettuce to plant and did a bit of weeding.

At home I chatted to my neighbour and pulled up the beautiful white convolvulous because it looked dead. I thought the window cleaner had trodden on it, but it didn't have any rootball to speak of, so I guess that was it.

Over breakfast I decided to book a Ramblers holiday to Cuba - so exciting! It's not until November 2025 so I've plenty of time to save up. I couldn't find my debit card so paid the deposit with the credit card... then spent ages searching all my pockets. It was in the car. I have to pay the hairdresser in cash due to a lousy signal, so I'd gone to the atm and then hidden the card in the car!
