Lily and Lily

I walked outside and took several pictures of our street that is under construction. New gas lines, water lines, sewer lines, sidewalks and pavement. But, it is too depressing to witness, and it is supposed to last through October. 

On the way back in, the lilies were calling me, and I answered. The statue has a story. The son of one of Lisa's former bosses bought the piece for the nursing home where Lisa works. But, he didn't like how they treated it, and called us to see if we would take it. We said yes.

I've decided to quit talking about my medical issues, so unless something drastic happens...I'm keeping it on the downside.
