A day in Banff

It snowed first thing this morning, and on and off throughout the day. After a delicious hotel breakfast we took a walk past the railway station to the Banff Town sign; we then took a local 'Roam' public transit bus up to the open-air Banff Upper Hot Springs where we spent some time. No view over the mountains due to the snow and rain cloud cover, but it was lovely being in the hot spring water in the cold open air with the trees around us.
When we came back in to town we had a wander around the Banff Park Museum and took a walk along the Bow River Trail, where we could see the extra snowfall on many of the trees as we looked over the river to the Banff Springs Hotel.
Another photo of the railway station in the evening, where the blue sky and visible mountains was in stark contrast to the morning snow and cloud.
