Lion Foundry

I'm not sure I understand how it all works... If you pull out your spray can and leave your mark on this wall, you're liable to face a fine and the council will (eventually) spend some of our money on cleaning it off. However, if you're a reasonably famous street artist, the council spends some of our money commissioning you to leave your mark here.

I'm not really complaining. I like this and there's a big difference between something creative like this and the usual destructive mess that we see - but I have no idea where you draw the line (pun fully intended).

Almost every time we see a red telephone box, we look round the back at the base to see if it was made by the foundry here in Kirkintilloch. We've had friends spot them as far away as California and Japan.
