Thursdays are my favorite.

Today was another 5:30am start! It's not usually difficult for me to fall asleep at an irregular time, except last night my brother was loudly and inconveniently partaking in a game of Starcraft II. -__-" But other than that, I could totally get used to this getting up early thing--so nice having the entire day ahead of you.

Thursdays are already my favorite day of the work week given that my department provides free breakfast and there's sushi for lunch in the cafeteria. (Fact: If my company provided free food all the time like Google does for its employees, I would be ridiculously excited to go to work every day...Google's benefits are so godlike. Also, they use a herd of goats to "mow" their lawn! ^^) This morning, I was so early that as I was getting my green tea, they were bringing in the bagels and fruit salad (and I didn't even realize they usually have strawberries and pineapple in addition to all the other fruit--usually it's gone by the time I get to it!). So I got first dibs...My Thursdays are so starting at 5:30 from now on.

AND JUST LOOK AT WHAT I ATE FOR LUNCH...Ahhh so beautiful! Spicy tuna sushi roll topped with avocado and caviar (I got the same as what I had last week just so I could get a picture of it) and miso soup. Mmmm.

Also, I've found that working ten hours today was surprisingly not bad so long as I had Pandora Radio (I've been trying to use up the remaining 60% of my monthly limit this week), a good night's sleep, and a lot of (healthy) food so I could remain perpetually in a state of eating. God, thank you for blessing me with a decent metabolism and the desire to deprive myself of most animal proteins, otherwise I would be obscenely overweight.

I'm not quite sure when I became so obsessed with food, but I'm pretty sure it's directly correlated with entering college and having to be productive for long periods of time.
