Dublin Shooter

It took a lot of effort to get my act together and venture out of the house during the afternoon, but I finally managed it, walking up to Killester DART station and heading for Howth. Actually, I did one of my magical-mystery-tour things and told myself that I wasn't fussy about which direction I went in, and I only ended going northward because that's the direction the first train was going in.

On a whim, I got off at Kilbarrack, which isn't the most beautiful part of Dublin (to put it mildly). Still, I kept my head down, persevered, and fitted in a reasonably decent bit of  a walk. I don't remember now whether it was on the way out or back that I thought of holding the camera to the window in the train with the idea of capturing a feel of motion and speed (not that the DART goes especially quickly, despite the fact that the R in its name stands for Rapid).

Nothing much else happened today (if you don't include the hours afterwards that I spent on the re-design of the quarterly magazine which I'd promised to get to the client for tomorrow). I told myself on the DART and during my walk that I was working things out in my head, so I wasn't being irresponsible.
