8:30

By eightthirty

but it pours

8:30 and on the way to nursery with the weeWeir.

Well, I was. This is written a long time later. After one of those curiously full and entertaining days.

Nursery delivery went well, home for some work interspersed with chat with Mrs theWeir and a few colleagues (over the phone for the latter). Got the things on my list for the day done and ready for my half-day right on schedule.

Perfect.

Then a wee errand for Mrs theWeir (who was away making a large number of cakes) and collect the weeWeir. Off to visit my Dad and show the new car (as yet unnamed). A nice wee chat with my Dad - including a peek at his new laptop. Not a Mac (he's not a fan...), but a stylish wee beast. Shame about the OS...

Back home and discovered that the work I'd done hadn't made it to it's recipient. Cue an hour of scrambling around to get the file in the right place, in the right format and with the right instructions. Job done.

Then another errand for Mrs theWeir and the weeWeir fed.

Then home and supper/bedtime for the weeWeir.

Then another phone call from the boss. This time a very quick fix.

Now it's time to blip.

Next it's time for food.

After that it's probably time to watch the first game of the Rugby World Cup and then sleep.

JINGS.

It's all life though, and that makes me smile. Would like to have been splashing in puddles a bit more though.

=====

Backblip for yesterday too.
