The Kiltwalk

By thekiltwalk

Is it a Sporran or Tardis?

They do say that ladies can keep everything, including the kitchen sink, in their handbag, however looking at the contents of this intrepid KiltWalkers Sporran then it would appear the inside of your average Sporran is as deceiving as Dr Who and his Tardis, as like the Tardis it may look small from the outside, but you can't half get a lot inside!!

I'll come onto the subject matter within today's blip shortly, however I can confirm the post match 'shakes' have almost gone and some form of normality has reappeared.

Trieste and Koper went by in a blink of an eye, but what a great trip it was. We managed to collect a fair amount of cash in our rattling tin and that will all go straight to this years KiltWalk, however it was a great chance to don the t-shirt and go out and spread The KiltWalk word.

It goes without saying that a high percentage of the people who follow Scotland know all about The KiltWalk but this allowed us to inform and cajole people into registering for this years event, but we'll wait and see if those who promised to "sign up", do so once the alcohol has worn off and the task ahead dawns on them.

For the avoidance of doubt the articles photographed did so willingly and were in no way harmed either inside or outside my Sporran and were treated, at all times, with due care and attention and are from left to right:

- 1 x iPhone (used for taking pictures and accessing Social Media while on tour)

- 1 x Blackberry for (a) receiving emails from my employer, (2) phoning home and
(3) phoning the rest of my mates when they've left me in a pub talking about The
KiltWalk to people.

- 1 x Gents Wallet

- 100 x KiltWalk badges (in flight bag)

- 3 x finger plasters (used when finger tips are ripped to shreds going in and out of
Sporran)

- 1 x strip of Nurofen, 2 x Contact lenses (2 pairs in case I can't get the first in)

- 1 x 'business card' fae The Haufwits Tartan Army who I had the pleasure of
sharing a few beers with on the Tuesday night.
