Capturing my Journey

A day of visitors. In the morning we had an agricultural consultant visiting to discuss our soil samples looking at the nutrient levels and soil structure to see what is needed to improve the ground thus improving the silage crop and grazing available. This involved a look round the fields and this is where I got my amusing shot of the day which is of my husband and the consultant being mobbed by some of our hopeful sheep. (they had already been fed!!) Shep of course being the ring leader.

In the afternoon we had the equine podiatrist girls over to trim the horses hooves. They were impressed with the growth for the time of year which means the horses are healthy. Best part of it was using the old fashion bartering system to pay for the trim which involved the girls choosing the equal price in beef and lamb that I have for sale instead of cutting them a cheque. Got the beginnings of a migraine this afternoon so now going to go have rest to try to shake it.
