Aching for Spring

We are in the middle of a serious ice storm which had me thinking about getting a shot of the many icicles that are forming on everything, but conditions are so slippery it would be dangerous to go out. Instead, I am staying put and I will try to override my cabin fever with some spring fever, and post this Gerbera, in honor of the first day of meteorological spring.

"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!" - Mark Twain
