But, then again . . . . .

Artist at Work.

Today's blip had already been taken (I can retake that tomorrow) but it was usurped by this precocious little number. We are members of the local RSPB group and tonight there was a lecture by Darren Woodhouse, a weel kent local artist. He has appeared on television nature watch programmes and specialises in working out doors what ever the weather. He's an enthusiastic chappie, enthusiastic about his wildlife subjects, his paper and his paints, but not his brushes, he leaves too many of them out in the field. It wasn't so much a lecture as a chat full of smiles and laughter. The blip was taken from my seat just after the end of the talk while he was posing for mobile phones, the paint was still wet.

It was good to see a blip from Joe today, there maybe some grounds for hope.
That apart, I’m pleased to note that, as I write about four hours after it was posted, it has had 6423 views, 675 comments, 302 stars and 239 hearts.

I noticed in  a press clipping from "The Scotsman" a quote from Tom MacLennan, of liquidators FRP Advisory; he doesn't seem to speak the same brand of English as myself: having confirmed that Blipfoto was suffering from ‘funding issues’, he added that, “The funds available were not adequate to wind it down without insolvency protection.” I believe the word he was looking for was "with."
