How to Draw Horses
I first met Diana Hands when we were both mature students in the late 1990s at Glasgow School of Art.
Over the years we have kept in touch, albeit sporadically as our paths diverged.
Yet by a strange coincidence we both have books coming out within a week of each other- and neither of us knew this beforehand.
Diana, a keen horsewoman, and artist has written a book called How to Draw Horses. Already her publisher has got it splashed across the Internet and it is going to be translated into French.
Diana’s book feeds into that insatiable basic human need we all have to create images.
Her technical skill is fired by her lifelong passion for horses.
Diana is one of the artists taking part in the forthcoming
Forth Valley Open Studios and currently has work on show in the Tolbooth gallery, Stirling.
