Jeremy's Welsh tattoos

Poet, performer and painter Jeremy Wyatt has just moved to Scotland from Barry.

And I met Jeremy for the first time recently because he will be taking part in Forth Valley Open Studios and will be exhibiting in The Smith Museum and Gallery, Stirling.

The first thing I noticed about Jeremy, apart from his height ,well over 6ft 6 ins, was his painted nails and tattoos.

But these were not ordinary tattoos. He has had the words of the Welsh national anthem tattooed in Welsh on his arms. He explains why.

Did he have any inside gossip on the "Gavin and Stacey" hit show set in Barry?
Oh yes, he says they now run bus tours to the places where it's filmed - like in Hollywood- and one house that features in the series gets regular visitors.

The owner used to suffer from depression and rarely went out. Now she has endless visitors and has taken to providing them with tea and cakes.

I look forward to hearing more Welsh tales from my fellow countryman now living a few miles up the road.
