Open Gardens

Tomorrow we open our garden for charity ( Scotland's Gardens) along with several others in Bridge-of-Allan.
And I have vowed that this is the last year we do it.

The workload increases each year as we seem to get ever more ambitious.

Then there is the weather. Gardening in our changing climate is becoming ever more risky: storms, gales and unexpectd frosts following freak hot weather has thrown the plants into a tizzy. They dont know whether they are coming or going.

On the plus side , yes we do raise quite a bit of money for charity, its a great sociable occasion when we get to see folk we have not seen for a while and at the end of it we have a tidy garden.
