Another Day, Another Mill.

I had to give a presentation this afternoon. Confusion about the venue, which turned out not to be here but in nearby Halle St Peter's - which was interesting, the orchestra's rehearsal space inside a converted old church.

The Mills in Ancoats represent the biggest single assemblage of old industrial buildings remaining in the UK. Finding new uses for these is a challenge, but Royal Mill is impressive. Although I was a little thrown by the board outside the entrance advertising a company called "Wigs Up North". Not needed yet, but you can never be too sure .......
