my slide up
Amos was getting a bit tired and ratty quite early in the morning but still managed to resist the gentle swaying motions of the bike seat until we got to the really rattly bit of the path, whereupon he did his best to sleep with his head resting on the back of the saddle until a chance wobble left him leaning backwards. I managed to keep him asleep through the paths to the courtyard where the café is, and managed to eat most of my cake and drink most of my coffee before he awoke, whereupon he went all ratty again and started crying when I took the bike away to lock it up. He cheered up later when presented with some molehills to investigate, a climbing brother to attempt to emulate and a ladybird to have clamber upon his finger.
