Island for nude bathing

This island, popular with naturists is for nude bathing only but today the seas are too rough and no boats could get across, not that it bothered us because we had no intention of going across.
M is from Yorkshire and would no sooner sunbathe in the nude than walk starkers through our local supermarket.

We are back at the same hotel as last year on the north coast of Jamaica and I have been reacquainting myself with the wildlife around here.

The tree frogs make the most tremendous noise in the evening and I have recorded them. Check it on Youtube.

Meanwhile the rocks on the shoreline are literally crawling with crabs. (See extra photo).  We have acquired a gecko in our room and I hope it will eat those  stray mosquitoes.

Dinner to-night
"Where are you from?" The couple at the next table had an accent I just could not place. So I asked them. (Well, I am Welsh and we don't stand on ceremony).
"Finland".
We got chatting, as you do on holiday.
"I hear in the UK you have had a natural disaster because the temperature fell to  -10C.”
He added:” It’s -32C with us...all the time".

How about this for a sign of the times - a middle aged couple at an adjoining table brought their Kindles with them and read throughout most of the evening… in fact I have seen more Kindles here than books.
