Carlisle Cathedral Grounds

We had need to have a morning shopping in Carlisle doing some shopping ready for a holiday later in the month with #1 daughter.  Between shops we decided to have a look at Carlisle Cathedral to "suss out" the photographic opportunities.

It was a lovely day, particularly compared to many we have had for weeks so we wandered round the grounds as well.  This shot is taken from under a covered area outside the fratery.

We followed this p with a visit to one of our favourite garden centres after lunch.
