Cookery lesson

We had great fun this morning at out Moroccan cookery lesson, which started with a trip out to the markets to select our ingredients. Preserved lemons (a new one to me!) are pictured here! After an informative and entertaining couple of hours in the kitchen we enjoyed the results of our efforts, various delicious dishes that made the very best use of fresh vegetables and a variety of spices used to provide flavour rather than heat. Wine was also present at most stages of the process!
