Hemingway's House

Hemingway lived in this house in Key West with his second wife, Fife, and their two sons in the early 30s. He did a lot of his writing here.

I am reading a book about his 4 wives recommended to me on Saturday by PamelaJ and which I downloaded immediately...the wonders of technology! Thanks Pam!

Today it was lovely to read extracts about their lives while sitting in their garden. Every now and then one of the 40+ six toed cats wander by. The cats are a big feature of the visit. The ginger one seen with our very entertaining guide is called Humphrey Bogart...they all have famous names and go wherever they want in the house and garden.

We had a fun evening at a jazz club after dinner last night...Cuban jazz and lots of other stuff...really good.

Tonight is our last night here and tomorrow morning we will set out for the drive to Miami Airport and our flight home.
