Simple words cannot explain how much this means, nor can they cover the quality of the care and understanding that the college staff offer their students.

Ruth made it to the formal Acclimatisation Day where she met more staff, some fellow students ... and a couple of guide dogs!  She just cannot wait to start there next month, "if I smile any more it will hurt" or words to that effect :-)

Her journey back to Wales has taken the shine off her day - but not her future - a full 4 coach train was cut to 2 coaches en-route and the overcrowding left Ruth sitting at an unmanned station when she could not cope.  A taxi eventually completed the journey for her but with little regard for her chronic back pain or car-sickness .... just one and a half hours late :-(
