Fund-raising in the digital age

Gone are the day of jumble sales, coffee mornings and raffles, which campaigning community groups had to rely on to raise money.

In this new digital age we live in its all done online.
We have just passed £1,000 in our second round of crowdsourcing on Just Giving.

Well, we need it. Taking part in a Public Inquiry is an expensive business.

This morning our secretary had to pay a printing bill of  £300 for documents.

The Park of Keir Public Inquiry, which starts on September 5th is all about Judy Murray wanting to build a tennis centre on our Greenbelt and she claims the only way it can be commercially viable is for it to have houses.

We say: No housing on our Greenbelt.
