Culcha vulcha

Pretty much last festival day. Started very convivially with a huge delicious brunch at Alfthomas and Arclight's flat (extra loving Arclight's extra fingers!) Nice to also see Hazelh and meet Norfolkdoc.....and I'm sure we'll persuade the non-blipping guests to join soon!
Had to leave to go to 'Love, lies and taxidermy', another of those clever, well performed, interesting plays at Summerhall.
From there to the new staff garden party to chat briefly to a few people before on to the Traverse for another good play 'Milk' which had a very clever set and use of lighting. Didn't have the very tight turnaround we had thought so had time to go home and do some research on the opera before heading down to the controversial staging of Cosi Fan Tutte http://www.eif.co.uk/2016/cosi
Singing and orchestra were brilliant, staging clever (although lighting very low so difficult to see much!) Still thinking how I felt about the setting chosen and how they presented racial elements....
