Still enjoying having a cat around the house. C is having to work at home on a special project so she's benefitting from the company!

Work is still a bit of a slog. Scheduled to end in mid-December which is a challenge. We did talk about whether to try to get an extension but (a) we probably won't and (ii) we can't face dragging out the agony for longer than necessary.

C's out this evening so, after a bit of cutting up an old turntable mat, I now have a dedicated 7" mat which means that I can change record without having to stop the turntable - and then wait for it to get back up to speed. Tested it out with Itsuko got Married by Bearsuit. Would bring a grin to the stoniest face...

By the way, do you remember the Usbourne books for young readers? They had a yellow duck hidden in every picture. Well, I've decided to hide a barenakedlady in every picture. Starting with this one.
