How was it for you?

The man in front of me at Edinburgh is cross. We have both been hauled out for special searches, while other passengers were waved through.

"Fourteen times I have been stopped going through this airport . Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?"
The harassed young assistant shrugged: " no idea...." He murmurs something about a glitch in the computer system, that is small compensation as the clock ticks to take off time.
Eventually he gets cleared and he leaves with his computer, tablet and smartphone tucked under his arm . My misdemeanour is a small tube of hand cream in my bag.

On leaving the security area I spot a large notice:" How was it for you?"
