About to Spring

I searched the curry flower buds again today. A honeybee passed through the bush, sampling the buds to see if there was nectar yet. The little harvestman from yesterday was huddled among the buds on her stem. A small lynx spider ran away at great speed when I approached. Then I saw this tiny mantis nymph. It was barely 10 mm long. I got one shot before it sprang like a flea and vanished somewhere in the depths of the bush.

Poppy of the day in extras. It was very windy. The poppies were roughly blown about.
