Don't make me angry

Anna: "Mummy, there's another wasp in the house"
Me: "I'll come and sort it in a minute"

A few seconds later:

Anna: "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh. It stinged me"
Me" Where?"
Anna: "On my finger"

A wee while later after ice has been applied, Anna is less hysterical and I am trying to find the offending wasp:

Me: "Where is the wasp?"
Anna: "Near the window"

I find a wasp at death's door lying on the window sill.

Me: "Anna, did you swat the wasp?
Anna: "Yes"
Me: "And what did you do after that?"
Anna: "I poked it with my finger to see if it was alive"

She won't be doing that again in a hurry.
