Down at the beach

The temperature has remained up, and coupled with sufficient humidity that the clouds have leaked rain a few times during the day, there has been little incentive to be active physically.

However, this afternoon about three hours after high tide, I had my second jog (run/walk/standingstill) for 2017. During a dry period, I went down the stairs to Southend of Snells Beach rather than down the path to our beach as I did yesterday. The birds were more circumspect than I. Ducks, as always, were out on the water. A few herons, and oystercatchers. Mynahs made a lot of noise. And a group of sparrows (of which this is one) enjoying a trip to the beach. I saw the swallows flying around and twice as I lowered the camera, one flew in or out of the culvert to their nest.
