Blipfoto Celebrates One Year of Independence

How do I always celebrate?  With a trip outdoors, of course!

OK, so I was going anyway (I had a moment in the day to save) but how glad I am that Blip wasn't snatched away, that this community and four time-selfless people put the effort and money into ensuring that.

Blip will stay close to my heart for much, much longer, I hope.  I love too much the way it helps me focus on the day, the moment, the views, the wildlife, and even the people (blimey, yes really!).

The things I've learnt from all of you, the many people who have inspired me in many different ways is what makes Blip special and why it genuinely means so much to me.  There is so much above and beyond recording a photo every day.  I had no idea where it would take me.  But I'm glad it has.

A wholehearted thank you to the very lovely lot of you x

An early start almost felt like summertime this morning as I headed off to Pateley Bridge for a wonderful round trip into Nidderdale.  A little mist, a fair amount of sunshine and a lot of hills made for a grand morning out.  Pooch pie had her share in the sunshine too!
