Tranquility

This is one of my favourite Monet paintings, and I was very fortunate to see it in person today at an exhibition in Basel. It was exceptionally busy, but I was able just to capture the photograph. Lots of wonderful colour inspiration for hats, beautiful lilacs, blues, turquoises... plus an interesting fountain in the grounds
