I walked 12 kilometers round trip into the mountains where I went to a cave. Elevation gain was 300 meters. I traveled alone. But I brought my cell phone, which had no reception. I brought my gps, which had the coordinates (N 48° 44.593 W 123° 56.943) for the cave and a geocache and I brought a satellite tracking device (Spot), which allows me to push a button should I require help. I found the cave. A small stream of water ran into the cave. On my return I met a logging truck and spoke with the driver. Of course, he was surprised to see me walking in the wilderness. I placed the cave on the map approximately. I had to guess.
