A warm one..

..very warm from first thing this morning. Chores, and get G up to go to her Pilates class in Lochinver.

Breakfast, and then out planting courgette, 42 plants. These are grown mainly for their flowers, but some will mature into courgettes.

Had to rake over some roughly dug ground first, and walk down the croft to get the rake. Then back up to the house to get some leeks, and a hoe. Hoed between the onion rows, meaning to plant the leeks in between, but left the final planting, as it was too hot.

Back to the house for a drink and apple, just as the repairman came to fit a new inverter for the solar panels. The old one stopped working 4 years and 6 months into the 5 year warranty!

Then down to the bottle veg patch, and weeded between the rows with the wheeled hoe.
Then time to give the dogs a run on the beach, and they loved it. Spent an hour or so throwing the ball in the sea, cooled them down a bit.

Back to the cabbage patch, and hand hoed between the plants.

Back up for tea, a haircut afterwards, and then into the tunnel to side shoot the 80+ tomato plants and wind around the strong supports.

That'll do for today..
