delivery man - Know How
There is so much I need to document about this trip, it is hard to describe. Why are there no cats in Delhi, or India, looks to be a popular search, which is ironic as I have spent the last couple of weeks talking about 'search'.
Today was a good day, the confused looks of my colleagues were thankfully replaced by looks of realization, the wheels of industry kind of sit in a kind of bike frame so to speak and can then be moved to shift high street goods like erm Fridge freezers. Does there ever come a point when you suddenly realise that no one quite understands what you are on about, I had that feeling several times during the last few days. But we get there in the end.
Today's lesson learned was all to do with the housing/property crisis in and around Delhi. If many people I know in Scotland feel it is difficult to get a foot on the property ladder then it is surely tenfold over here.
The other thing which I had learned but forgotten, if you do not wish people to 'help' you find a place you are not looking for, on the streets of Delhi, as three people did, with some degree of insistence, stick your phone to your ear as only 1 in 10 will even try to interrupt a phone call. Oh boy how this works.
