Abstract

Another cold day. Apart from chopping some wood, which warmed me for a little while, I stayed indoors. Late afternoon there was a narrow gap between the nor’west arch and the mountains. As soon as the sun dipped below the cloud I went out, hoping to find something in the beautiful light. It lasted 5 or 6 minutes, transforming everything it touched.
