Let me out!

Taz has had a day in the vet hospital having a dental scale and polish, narrowly avoiding several extractions.

The result is that he has sparkling white teeth and we have an astronomical bill.

The vet warned that he would be sleepy after the anaesthetic and if he did not come round properly in a few hours to get in touch.

Well he was no sooner out of his cat basket than he was growling and demanding to go out.

He can’t wait check out his territory and have a fight.

He is 16. Probably more.  When I checked his certificate again from Cat Rescue his age was 11 (approx.).

I had forgotten “approx.”   Suspect Cat Rescue erred on the side of youth. After all who would adopt a 13 or 14 year old?

Well…. we did.
