Afternoon tea

Despite heavy showers a fair number of visitors, including ourselves , enjoyed afternoon tea in Douglas Ramsay's garden in Falkirk.

He opens it to the public once a year for charity under Scotland's Garden scheme.

As usual we picked his brains for ideas looking for plants which have been tried and tested and flourish in our challenging Scottish climate.
