Robert Louis Stevenson's cave

Our family visitors took a stroll down to Robert Louis Stevenson cave, alongside the Allan Water river this morning.

This is always popular with guests of a literary persuasion.

The cave is believed to have inspired him to write Treasure Island. Certainly, he spent a considerable time of his youth in this Victorian spa town.
