Aww!

Had a lovely, lazy day - just what I needed.

I woke early (as always) but just relaxed and sewed in bed with cups of tea. Had a little mosey into the town to do a bit of household shopping in the afternoon and arrived back home to a postcard from Laura. Yay! She's been having a holiday of a lifetime in Alaska with her dad... somewhere he's wanted to go all his life. She helped make his dream come true. The cute card and her usual positive attitude which flowed from her words put a smile on my face. She's been posting pics of her holiday online,  it looks an amazing place.

More people should send postcards. I still do. They are lovely to send and receive ♥
