Churches, statues et al!

Our intention was to visit the Castello area and the Arsenale today. However, having gone to Harry's Bar, we carried on to the Accedamia Bridge, and then round to the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute. There was a Damien Hirst Exhibition there, and his works are all over Venice (some very strange!). There is also a miniature Statue of Liberty across the canal! There are some wonderful musicians around so free music to entertain. We also accidently found the gondola servicing and repair shop! All fascinating stuff. Think the best moment was a diver popping up out of a canal for a bottle of water - literally "in the drink"! Extras show some of these sights.
