Autumn in Scotland

Another glorious sunny day and a reminder that the best months to visit Scotland are either May or September.

Also less midges.

If you look carefully you will see the dreaded pylons, 60 metres ( 200ft ) causing a blot on the landscape in the distance, yet another example of the Scottish Government over-riding the wishes of the local people.
This was taken up at Cocksburn reservoir where these pylons cross The Ochils.

After our highy successful walk on Saturday over Park of Keir we are all energised for the next round in our campaign and we have a meeting later this week to discuss strategy.

How do we persuade Judy Murray that a tennis centre on Park of Keir is not a good idea as a legacy for her boys, Jamie and Andy.

True the concept is a good idea but its in the wrong location.

Perhaps we ought to have a public meeting and invite her along to hear what her local community think of her project.
