Liam's land art

I'm employing  a young man to clear a bramble patch. He's cheerful and energetic and carries on working even in the pouring rain. As he clears the area he balances the stones he unearths and  after several hours' work he's left this trail of miniature inuksuit,  as the Inuit call the humanoid stone sentinels that serve as markers and guideposts in the snowy wastes of the arctic. Other land artists have adopted the form  such as this  impressive series in Iowa.

I think these might become quite a feature.
