Carol

His Lordship and I had a jaunt away today to the fair city of Dundee to meet up for lunch with another of his cousins.
We travelled in some style on the Gold Bus which plies its trade between Edinburgh and Aberdeen with only one stop at Dundee. En route we got a hot drink and a biscuit to keep the wolf from the door. All this, journey and snack for the cost of the booking-£1 for us oldies.

Before reaching the lunch venue at the Dundee Arts Centre, we had time to pop in to the Christmas craft tent at the Caird Hall to see our niece who has a stall there selling jewellery and weaving.

The meal at the arts centre was a Christmas one for me, with all the trimmings.

I fell asleep on the bus home, as you do when you’ve eaten too much, even although no alcohol passed my lips.

A tiring day but a good one too.
