Now I am not given to peering through neighbours hedges but today I could not resist.

With the temperature below freezing I could hear music coming from a neghbours garden  as I walked past.

Through the hedge I could see people sitting in an outdoor tub with steam rising.

Now you expect that in a Scandinavian countries but it came as a bit of a shock in Bridge of Allan on a Sunday afternoon.

I congratulated them on their hardiness. They raised a glass in acknowledgement.

Tonight the temperature is -7C . While the rest of England, Wales and north Scotland seem to be under a blanket of snow we,in central Scotland, are snowfree.
Pity. Snow makes great photo opportunities.
