Happy New Year!

 
Met up with some friends at Stirling castle this afternoon – it must the only place in Scotland open if the number of tourists is anything to go by: coachloads of visitors from the Far East.
 
I marveled to the castle keepers how spotless the place was- no sign of last night’s huge firework display for the annual Hogmanay party.
 
Apparently they started the clear up as soon as the last firework went off.
And today there was no sign of last night’s revelry.
 
As for the weather, the showers, mist and sunshine made for excellent photographic opportunities.
