Nothing happens here...

Gan canny wi' them cauli's...

Very busy day ahead so a Port Appin view this morning should suffice for a Blipsnap.

Some technical notes...

The fish boxes are hand made from white plastic strip.  They measure 17mm x 8mm x 3mm.  I built about 40 of them and I don't think I'll build any more!  The names on the boxes are tiny little decals that I printed and are based on real fish companies from the 60's.

The lobster pots drove me nuts and I built quite a lot before I settled on this design.  These are made from plastic barrels cut in half then wrapped in net curtain!  Painting was tiresome but I eventually fathomed out a method.  The ends of the pots were printed by using a bit of net dipped in paint and used as a stamp.

The cauli's on the fork lift were made from beads of DAS modelling clay and painted cauliflower colour - what else!.  Another bit of modelling I don't think I'll be repeating!

The blue shed is modelled to resemble the one on the harbour at Tarbert (Argyll).  Again, built from plastic sheet and strip, weathered with Vallejo paints and Woodland Scenics dusting powders.  The decals are home made.

The AEC lorry is a 'straight out of the box' model by EFE and is a bit too clean for my liking.
