A little bit more than yesterday...

This morning I woke just before 7am to find that it had snowed last night after all.  I was too late for the actual sunrise, but the rosy golden glow of early morning sun was so lovely that I just had to go over to Linder's Field to take some shots.  I was not disappointed:  I have seen the snow much deeper and heavier here before, but the light was exceptional.
In other ways, the day went  on much as usual.  J, our decorator was able to get to us on time and complete a full day.  The dust from sanding the wood is horrendous but every day done is one nearer the end and it will all look wonderful when finished.
Violet's nursery finished early so that staff could get home before the roads froze and became treacherous again, so we picked her up around 2pm.  They are not absolutely certain about opening tomorrow, so we'll have to wait and see.  I might well be looking forward to being holed up with V and the sanding decorator for the next two days...
