Thick snow...

... and bitterly cold, but these runners added  some bright colours to the scene on the old railway track footpath this morning.

Slightly earlier, I shot a similar scene without people and, in the distance, there appeared to be mist (see extra) - it was actually lying snow being blown around in the air.
