Homerton Station

And the start of my journey home. For a surprise bonus to my cultural top-up, I was taken to the Hackney Empire last night to see the RSC's Hamlet. An amazing theatre and a memorable production, in which all the parts were very well played. Mimi Ndiweni as Ophelia demonstrated grief the likes of which I haven't seen on a stage before, whilst Paapa Essiedu's Hamlet was full of vigour, intelligence and charisma, leading a largely black cast that brought a touch of West Africa to the play, complete with some drums, song and dance.
